In the year 2344, the flying city of Arx Nubibus was launched into the sky. In the centuries since, its people have lived in the pressurized bubble completely isolated from the outside world.

In 2617, their tiny world suddenly begins to change. Achilles, a self-proclaimed superhero, appears with the powers of a Miracle granted by a higher power. As he begins to redefine what 'normal' is, others with Miracles also appear.

Joseph Queen, known to his friends and family as Joey, receives a Miracle himself after falling off a bridge nearly costs him his life. He soon finds himself torn between the ordinary life he wanted and the world around Achilles, who hopes to gather those like him to create a legion of heroes to defend the city from those who would use Miracles to do it harm.

Can Miracle bearers still have simple, happy lives? Or are they forever doomed to this high destiny?
